I also wish to thank Hon. John Hays from New Zealand who played a significant role who
Stayed at the guest haus and played a pivotal role towards making peace. Thank you for all your support and when the going gets tough you asked me to do something about my big rooster that was disturbing your peaceful sleep.
Hahaha. In the evening I made a nice stew from the local chicken in which Mr John hays enjoyed the lovely soup. That gave him cordial sleep and peaceful. Peace is here to stay. It all started there.

Coastline guest haus provides peaceful environment towards building peace among disputed parties. The excobantans , the panguna mine landowners and affected landowners, This place carries a significant history of making peace among warring parties. The PNG Defence Force and mekamui political head led by late president Joseph kabui, the strong hold hard liners Andrew Miriki, late Jonathan Ngati, were able to come out of the jungle to talk and break the silent. Coastline guest haus bought the pig to dignify

the first time out for the leaders and broker the peace towards the long journey to peace.Thus taking the bold stand was Theresa Jaintong the owner of the Peace building Coastline guest haus. We are now united and approaching the long waited bougainville referendum it took 10 to 15 years. People will be voting democracticly for the 2 options. Greater Autonomy, and independence for bougainville. The bougainville people are exited for the opportunity to vote for their choices. All the best to 2 candidates. Greater Autonomy Box 1 and Independence Box 2.

Come to Coastline Guest haus and enjoy the peaceful environment and local food all cooked in Coastal style with Tamatama our local pudding visit to our kieta happy valley for snorkeling and diving and cannoe paddling and climbing Tanairang mountain rocks with the story of Mamankuria and traditional koretonang song. Boat trip to Takanupe and bit of taste of fishing and trolling to catch yellow fin tuna with our young fisherman. David Lompu and junia Niniku.

It was a previlge for Coastline g/haus to have played host to Bvilles Northern Region Ex coms and their Mekamui leaders who spent 4 days in arawa to commemorate May 17 and witness the reconciliations between factions in Roreinang and panguna.They have shown how well coordinated they are and we thank each and everyone of them for their effort in contributing to make their stay here highly regardable one.
