We’re glad we attended the 3rd Lae AgriTrade Expo! 🌱✨

Taking part in this year’s expo was a truly rewarding experience for Hauslain Harvest. We had the opportunity to meet many incredible farmers who are members of various cooperatives—and we were so excited to see their genuine interest in our cassava flour product. Many of them are excited to supply us with raw cassava, and we’re looking forward to building lasting partnerships with them.

We also had the privilege of connecting with organisations that are ready to support our growth and mission.

Most of all, we made new friends and supporters who are just as passionate about rural development and sustainable agriculture as we are—and who want to walk this journey with us full-time. A big shout out to bestie Jack Tukana and Yalu who were by our stand supporting us during the 2 days! To everyone, your support means everything!

Big thank you to the organizers and everyone who came by our booth. The energy, connections, and shared vision for agricultural innovation truly inspired us.

Papua New Guinea Child Genius 13 year old Joshua Rere, reportedly from Goroka in Eastern Highlands Province, has created history by enrolling at the University of Papua New Guinea as a First year Science Foundation student.

Joshua's father is an Agriculturalist and mother is a lawyer.

Because of Joshua's high Intelligence Quotient (IQ), he was able to skip a couple of Grades leading up to enrolling in UPNG.

Skipping grades is still considered for students with high IQ in some private schools today.

He later went overseas on a scholarship, completed his studies and is now working and consulting as a successful systems engineer based in Australia.

I just hope we have some more like him coming through in the near future. Well done to Joshua Rere.
