Hyang Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Suppliers & Distributors - a PNG 2023 SME Award Finalist

Hyang Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Suppliers & Distributors have made it into 2023 PNG SME Award Finalist. Although we have not received any award in 2023 SME Award night tonight with in the category of "Local Fresh Fruits & Vegetable Distributors" we nonetheless are thankful to simply make it into the finalist in just one year of operation as a company.

That is an achievement in itself. We however, have a 4 years of experience in distributing fresh fruits and vegetables under the business name "M&E Fresh Fruits & Vegetables Suppliers" prior to registering Hyang to now trade as " Hyang Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Suppliers & Distributors".

Inspite of the Awards, we are grateful of our own progress this year. Our fresh fruits and vegetables supply network increases as we expand our clientele base in Port Moresby city of which we distribute to. We expanded in soliciting our supplies from Hagen to Goroka by mid 2023. By October 2023 we started to source our supply from Lae as well as that we are organising to expand to NGI.



Apart from Air Freighting 3 tonnes of fresh produce into the city on a weekly basis, we are now commencing sea freight orders up to 17 tonnes. Our markets increases from supplying RH Vision City and Gordon's to 8 Eliseo outlets, Foodworld waterfront, Holiday Inn, Shady Rest and partially Range View and Lamana Hotel. Our 2023 wind-up with partnering with Elesio for our first import of a 40ft container of garlic from China and will expand to other imports from November 2023 onwards.

We are honored and thankful to be part of SME Award as a finalist, which helps us understand where we are amongst other SME as we keep focusing on improvement in all aspect of our business operation. We thank our clients for nominating us and thank SME Magazine, besides other organizers and sponsors for making the award night a success. Congratulations to the 2023 winners. For all of our SME colleagues amongst "finalist" we encourage you all to keep working harder.

Hang Fresh Fruits & Vegetables Distributors partners with Vikilia's Hub Food Mart at 8 Mile Shopping Center to sell organically supplied fresh fruits and vegetables.

We welcome communities within 8 & 9 mile areas and around Sky View as well as Kennedy Estate to pay us a visit. It's an open fresh fruits and vegetables shop set up with varieties of produce from Highlands, Momase and NGI that we regularly air freight into the city on a weekly basis.

Come by and have a chat with us. You can even place your orders and will arrange delivery of your vegetables as well.
