1. Do whatever it takes, no matter how ridiculous, in order to change your life and to be closer to Jesus. What the naysayers say about you doesn't matter. JUST REMEDY YOUR SITUATION.
2. There's a PURPOSE behind your handicap or limitations. Trust your Maker. Someday you'll be able to connect the dots.
3. Instead of complaining about your misery, you better do something to try to remedy your situation. Zaccheus had reasons to grumble because of his small stature, but instead he thought of SOMETHING HE HAS NEVER DONE BEFORE, something others have never done before. People wish life will change but they keep DOING EVERYDAY WHAT THEY'VE BEEN PROGRAMMED TO DO ALL THEIR LIVES. Can you think of something you've never done before, or talk to people you've never met before, or go to places you have never been before?
Albert Einstein puts it this way: "INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS."
4. If you are truly repentant, show it by concrete actions. This is what we call "reparation for sins." We need to do our best in order to REPAIR WHATEVER DAMAGE OUR SINS HAVE CAUSED.

Luke 13:16 - "Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?"
- Some of us are like this woman, downtrodden, having carried a HEAVY BURDEN FOR SO MANY YEARS. She humbly acknowledged her longstanding miserable situation and HER NEED OF A SAVIOUR. And so, she found one, and at last she was set free. From the ashes she rose.
- The religious leaders on the other hand, were TOO PROUD to be able to admit their need of a Saviour. And so they remained "bound by Satan" in their misery. They were too obsessed with watching out for violations of the law. But they could not perceive the splendid miracle perfomed by Jesus. Sila ang TUNAY NA KAWAWA!
