One of the hardest things we've gone through on our farm is dealing with landslides.

Late last year, after days of heavy rain, the only road connecting our farm to the main road was completely washed away. It wasn't just a road; it was our way to bring supplies in, transport our harvest out, and simply get to and from the farm.

For months, every trip became more difficult. The damage was overwhelming, and the cost of restoring even a portion of the road was something we never planned for.

By God's grace, and after spending a significant amount of money, part of the road has finally been restored. We are grateful, but this experience reminded us how vulnerable farmers can be to forces beyond our control.

This is one reason why farmers need support. Farming isn't just planting and harvesting. There are countless expenses and challenges behind the scenes that most people never see. Sometimes, it's not the crops that cost the most, it's simply making sure we can reach them.

We're still moving forward, one step at a time, and we're thankful for everyone who continues to support local farmers. 🪴

Farming isn’t always peaceful mornings and green fields. When Typhoon Uwan hit, it left great damage in its wake. These photos show a reality we farmers know too well.

Our greenhouses were torn apart, crops damaged, and the heavy costs of rebuilding have slowed us.On top of that, landslides made the recovery even harder.

But even after days like this, there’s always hope after the rain. We stand up, rebuild, and keep growing because that’s what farmers do. ☘️
