Living Without Judgment in Mind
📖 Romans 3:18
"There is no fear of God before their eyes."

✨ INTRODUCTION

One of the clearest signs of spiritual decline in any generation is the loss of the fear of God.

Today many people live as if:
⚠️ sin has no consequence
⚠️ judgment will never come
⚠️ God does not see

People pursue pleasure, wealth, and self-gratification as if eternity does not exist.
But the Bible warns us that God is not mocked.
📖 Galatians 6:7
"For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

In the Dispensational understanding, God is currently extending grace through the Gospel revealed to Paul, but a future judgment still awaits those who reject Christ.

Let us examine eight biblical realities about a generation that does not fear God.

GUARD YOUR HEART

Judges 16

Let us reflect on one of the most tragic love stories in the Bible—the story of Delilah and Samson in Judges 16.

This is not just a story about romance.
It is a warning about discernment.
It is a lesson about guarding your calling.
It is a reminder to shun relationships that slowly pull you away from God.

Samson was chosen by God. He was a Nazarite from birth, set apart for divine purpose. God gave him supernatural strength.

But his weakness was not physical—it was relational.

Delilah was not just a woman in his life; she became a doorway to compromise. The Philistine rulers offered her money to discover the secret of Samson’s strength. Instead of protecting him, she repeatedly pressured him to reveal what would destroy him.

Judges 16:16 says she “pressed him daily with her words and urged him.”

Notice this:
The enemy did not attack Samson with an army.
The enemy attacked him through affection.

Sometimes what destroys us does not look dangerous. It looks attractive.

Samson kept going back to Delilah even after she betrayed him multiple times.

She asked for the secret of his strength.
He lied.
She tested him.
The Philistines came.
He escaped.

And yet… he stayed.

One of the clearest signs of a dangerous relationship is this:
When someone repeatedly pushes you toward disobedience.

If a relationship:

Weakens your prayer life

Makes you compromise your standards

Pressures you to reveal what God told you to protect

Pulls you away from purpose

That relationship is not from God.

Love should draw you closer to God, not away from Him.

Delilah said to Samson, “How can you say, ‘I love you,’ when your heart is not with me?”

She used emotional manipulation to wear him down.

Be careful of anyone who:

Uses guilt to control you

Threatens you emotionally

Pressures you to prove your love through compromise

Real love is patient. Real love protects. Real love honors God.

When someone constantly demands that you lower your spiritual

Amnon and Tamar: The Destructive Power of Lust and Uncontrolled Desire

Amnon was the son of King David and his wife Ahinoam.
He was a young man with a deep and destructive lust,
and his unchecked desires led him down a path of sin.
Amnon’s obsession was his half-sister, Tamar,
the daughter of David and his wife Maacah.

Amnon’s lust for Tamar consumed him,
and he could think of nothing else.
His desire turned into an unhealthy obsession,
and he devised a wicked plan to fulfill his lustful desires.

Amnon pretended to be ill and asked for Tamar to come to his house,
under the false pretense of wanting her to care for him.
Once alone with her, Amnon violently r***d Tamar,
disregarding her pleas and protests.

The act of violence left Tamar devastated.
She was humiliated, shamed, and heartbroken.
But the consequences of Amnon’s sin did not end there.

Amnon’s crime ignited a fire of bitterness and revenge in Tamar’s brother, Absalom,
who took matters into his own hands.
Two years later, Absalom killed Amnon,
leading to further division and conflict within King David’s family.
The sin of lust and violence had sown seeds of betrayal, destruction, and brokenness.

2. The Consequences of Uncontrolled Desires: Amnon’s act of violence against his sister Tamar led to irreversible consequences—violence, murder, and division in the family. Lust may promise momentary satisfaction

YAWA-YAWA” FESTIVAL HELD IN MALAY, AKLAN

LOOK: The town of Malay, Aklan is celebrating the Yawa-Yawa Festival this December 28 as part of the commemoration of the Niños Inocentes (Holy Innocents), the innocent infants who were killed by order of King Herod, according to Christian tradition.

The celebration takes place after Christmas and is considered one of the unique traditions of the people of Malay. Despite the frightening appearance of the costumes, the purpose of the festival is to preserve the culture, history, and faith of the community.

While culture and tradition have value, God’s Word must always take precedence over human practices. To associate a Christian commemoration with imagery and names that glorify darkness or evil is a serious spiritual concern.

The Bible gives a strong warning:

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
who put darkness for light, and light for darkness.”
— Isaiah 5:20 (NKJV)

The massacre of the Holy Innocents was a tragedy of evil, not something to be portrayed with demonic imagery or celebrated in a way that confuses darkness with faith. What was meant to expose the cruelty of sin and the need for Christ should never be mixed with symbols that glorify fear, demons, or darkness.

Scripture also reminds us:

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
— Ephesians 5:11

As followers of Christ, we are called to honor God in spirit and in truth, not to blend holy remembrance with images that contradict His holiness.
