đź“© [email protected] It is seventy kilometers away from Manila and can be accessed by two-hour drive through the North Luzon Expressway, the Jose Abad Santos Avenue (Olongapo-Gapan Road) and the Bacolor River Control Road (Mega Dike Access
Road). It is situated in Bacolor, a town right beside San Fernando City, the provincial capital. The property has a view of the outlines of Mt. Arayat in the north and the mountain ranges of Zambales in the west, while the Bayo river meanders south, along the property façade. The place used to be a rice field rented and cultivated by the family’s patriarch, Antonio Yalung, for more than two decades, up until the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in 1990 which left the area barren and covered with lahar. Genaro, son of Antonio, and his wife Susan, were able to acquire the property from its original lessor and revived the land into an orchard. In 2018, the property was started to be developed and was eventually reclassified as a commercial land three years later. In 2021, the Grand Villa, a two-story house with pool, gazebo, and cabana, was completed. Despite the upscale developments, the property was still able to maintain its relaxing countryside ambience, and remains to be home to over a hundred mango trees, other local fruit-bearing plants, tropical greenery, and farm animals. Future constructions lined-up for the coming years include a greenhouse-inspired restaurant with farm-to-table food concept, a covered pavilion for large events, and more private villas and pools within the estate perimetry. To pay homage to the land’s history and sentimental value, the property was aptly named “The Granary”, a depository of harvested grain. A golden mandala with rice grains at the core was designated as logo to represent prosperity, mindfulness, and harmony.
