Perfected throughout the years, Lola Paning worked on her Bagoong recipe while helping Lolo Sabas run the iconic Cugat’s Bazaar in San Fernando Pampanga. She spent countless hours perfecting her Bagoong recipe and started selling it outside their sporting goods store in a small cart, as a street vendor, to have an extra income for her family. Through the years, the product has been loved by all “Cabalens” and her recipe has been passed down to the 3rd generation of her family. We want to honor Lola Paning’s dedication to her craft and share to not only Cabalens but the whole Filipinos here and around the world.
