FIRE PIT GRILL x CALM DOWN COFFEE
Mandaluyong Branch and GrabFood
Maysilo Circle, right beside the Lotsa Pizza, and in front of the Divine Mercy Shrine.
CONCEPT. This is a grill and coffee shop. It is not a Filipino restaurant per se but it uses Pinoy ingredients.
Curious yet?
PASSION. The word I thought of when I heard how the Chef sourced the ingredients for the menu. Meticulous and hands-on.
The people behind this restaurant do not just serve food, they love and understand food.
COFFEE. The Chef sources and grinds the coffee beans. The result? Bold flavors but with no hint of acidity.
Comes in Latte, Spanish Latte, and Mocha. Priced at P160 per bottle.
BARAKO RIBS. This is the star of the show. Juicy and falls-off-the bone. From the name itself - the ribs are seasoned with Barako coffee which amplifies the flavor of the meat.
This comes with Java rice and coleslaw. A single serving is priced at P340, and a whole rack for P1,050.
OZIRIS CHICKEN WINGS. Its flavor profile is sweet and salty courtesy of patis and honey, plus a hint of 🍵.
Flavor-wise, I love that it does not aim to compete with the other wings in the market. It is its own self. Thus, while "chicken wings" is mainstream menu offering, OZIRIS CHICKEN WINGS manages to be original.
Priced at P215.
