"For years, I’ve dreamed of crafting my own blade, inspired by the Cordilleran head axe and transforming it into a functional knife or cleaver. And finally—boom! It’s here! The blade is forged from a 5160 steel, oil quenched, and paired with a black ebony wood handle embedded with animal teeth in smoky resin. A dream come true!"

"Our family had a spontaneous trip to EL-YU and started the day light with coffee and pandesal, planning to explore homegrown food spots in town. Then I remembered Ian mentioning he’d be opening a smoke BBQ joint in San Fernando City. The kids were thrilled—it’s been months since I last made smoked BBQ myself. We were lucky enough to find Ian at "BINALSIG Smokehouse by Goodys" when we arrived. The meat was exceptional—an assortment of smoked cuts that were tender, flavorful, and clearly crafted with love and passion. The sides were perfectly done, and everything was unanimously Etag-kid approved!"

Vg10 hammered Damascus CHUKA BOCHO (chinese cleaver)

-I imitated the hammered part of the blade to the handle, it came from a root of a kamagong wood, wrapped with a cordilleran textile, with clear and coffee epoxy resin.

It was a test sample since the root cant be straightened so might as well sand it like a rustic hammered metal.

-i was carving a slab of smoked meat, when a client saw my knife, offering me a price i cannot resist, but i still declined.. mag isa nalang to.. wala pang kapalit, next time nalang sir.. 😁
