KIMCHI FRIED RICE RECIPE ‼️
Ingredients:
• 2 cups cooked rice (preferably a day old)
• 1 cup kimchi, chopped
• 2 tablespoons kimchi juice
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon gochujang (Korean chili paste) – optional for extra spice
• 2 green onions, chopped
• 1 egg
• Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat the pan: Add vegetable oil to a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Cook the kimchi: Add chopped kimchi and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
3. Add rice: Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir-fry, mixing it well with the kimchi.
4. Season: Pour in the kimchi juice, soy sauce, and gochujang (if using). Stir everything together and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
5. Add sesame oil: Drizzle the sesame oil over the fried rice and stir to combine.
6. Cook the egg: In a separate pan, fry the egg to your preferred doneness (sunny side up or over-easy).
7. Serve: Serve the kimchi fried rice with the fried egg on top, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
