Hamungaya Farms originally started operating as a sugarmill processing fresh and chemical-free sugarcane juice into first class muscovado sugar. Although the mill has been in the family for generations it was registered officially with the Hamungaya trademark in 2003. The mill currently caters to its own sugarcane crop and the nearby sugarcane planters. It operates with the assistance of people in

a village-type community. Apart from the muscovado sugar that it produces, the farm also advocates and develops organically-grown products. The farm products now include organic red and black rice as well as seasonal vegetables and fruits. Our products are available in all Iloilo Supermart branches. The Mill Is Still, But We Are Preparing.

The smoke has settled, the rollers rest, and the old mill sleeps for a while.

But the farm does not.

In these quieter months, we repair equipment, tend the fields, and care for the sugarcane that will soon be harvested. Each task helps prepare for the season ahead.

The mill may be silent, but the work continues—steady, patient, and rooted in tradition.

And when October arrives, the mill will turn once more.

Until then, we prepare and wait for the sweet season to return.
