We’re still over the moon after the Seafood Roots Launch last Monday in celebration of World Ocean Day. 🌊🐟

What began as a simple dream—to bring the authentic flavors of our seas closer to more Filipino tables while creating better opportunities for our fishing communities—has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined.

It is a tribute to generations of fishers, seafood vendors, coastal families, and food makers who have nourished our communities long before sustainability became a buzzword. Every fresh catch, every artisanal salt, and every carefully sourced seafood product carries a story from our islands to your plate.

From sweet, succulent prawns and freshly harvested fish to our handcrafted artisanal salts that elevate every dish, we invite you to rediscover the rich flavors of the Philippine seas and celebrate the people who make them possible.

To everyone who joined us, supported us, and continues to believe in our mission—thank you for helping us create a future where thriving oceans and thriving fishing communities go hand in hand.

Here’s to getting back to our Seafood Roots. 🌊✨

🌊✨ Something meaningful is making waves this World Ocean Day! ✨🌊

This June 8, we open the doors to an exclusive celebration as we proudly welcome our newest Sinaya Wavemaker: One World Deli and launch the One World Deli x Sinaya Seafood partnership 🤝🌊

The “Seafood Roots” partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to responsible sourcing, ocean stewardship, and fair partnerships—bringing fresh, traceable seafood from hyperlocal coastal communities to your table with care and purpose.

Each dish in this exclusive experience traces its journey from sea to table—shaped by coastal communities, generational knowledge, and the ecosystems that sustain us—honoring every catch, every hand, and every story behind the sea. Made possible through the collaboration of One World Deli, CCA Manila, Purple Yam Manila, and Slow Food Manila, this gathering reflects a shared commitment to responsibly sourced seafood, Philippine coastal heritage, and stronger, more transparent seafood systems—working toward a more sustainable future for our oceans and food systems.

💙 Be part of Sinaya United Ocean Economy
A growing movement connecting oceans, fishers, partners, and markets—building a future where seafood is responsibly sourced, fairly valued, and deeply respected.

🌊 The future of our oceans is being shaped by the choices we make today.

This World Environment Day, we shine a light on a challenge that often goes unseen: Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing.

Beyond threatening marine ecosystems, IUU fishing takes opportunities away from honest fisherfolk, weakens coastal livelihoods, and puts the future of our seafood supply at risk.

But there is hope.

Every time we choose traceable, responsibly sourced seafood, we support the communities that fish the right way. We help create a future where oceans remain abundant, fisherfolk are fairly rewarded, and Filipino food heritage continues to thrive.

At Sinaya Seafood, we believe that sustainability starts with connection—connecting people to the source of their food, connecting markets to fishing communities, and connecting today’s choices to tomorrow’s oceans.

This World Environment Day, let’s celebrate the individuals and communities working every day to protect our seas. Together, we can build seafood systems that nourish both people and the planet.

💙 Because every responsible catch tells a story.
💙 Every purchase creates impact.
💙 And every action brings us closer to healthier oceans for generations to come.

A pinch of salt can tell a thousand stories. ✨

Thank you, , for this brilliant pairing that allowed our Filipino artisanal salts to shine alongside your exceptional Mishima Reserve Wagyu Flank.

Featuring Roasted Budbud Salt, Asin sa Buy-o, Asin Tultul, and Asin Tibuok, each tasting showcased how heritage, craftsmanship, and terroir can elevate every bite. Paired with Chimichurri, Peppercorn Sauce, and Brown Butter Béarnaise, the experience highlighted the incredible depth and diversity of Filipino salt traditions.

Moments like these remind us that preserving culinary heritage isn't just about honoring the past—it's about creating new experiences that inspire appreciation for the people, places, and traditions behind every ingredient.

Here's to more collaborations that celebrate Filipino flavors and bring our food heritage to the forefront. 🇵🇭✨

Which artisanal salt would you try first? 😉

Honoring the hands that feed the nation and guard our seas. 🇵🇭🐟

Happy National Fisherfolk Day! Today, we don’t just celebrate a profession—we celebrate the resilience, dedication, and deep-rooted heritage of the Filipino fisherfolk.

Beyond harvesting from the ocean, they stand as the frontline stewards of our marine resources and the backbone of coastal food security. Ensuring a healthy ecosystem means securing a thriving future for their families and communities.

Isang malaking pasasalamat sa ating mga bayani ng dagat sa inyong walang-pagod na pagpalaot. 💙🪸

🌊 The Philippines: A Blue Economy Giant 🇵🇭

As we wrap up the Month of the Ocean, we’re diving deep into what makes our archipelago truly special. Did you know that 87% of the Philippines is water?

Our oceans are more than just a beautiful view—they are the backbone of our nation’s future. This is what we call the Blue Economy: a sustainable model that balances economic growth with the protection of our marine ecosystems.

From the ₱215B, our fisheries contribute to the 1.2 million hectares of coral reefs that protect our shores, and our "Water Wealth” is our greatest asset.

At Sinaya Seafood, we are committed to honoring our seas and the hardworking fisherfolk who provide for us. By choosing responsible seafood, you’re not just getting a meal—you’re supporting a thriving, sustainable Blue Economy.

Let’s protect our oceans today to feed our future tomorrow. 💙🧡

2 days ago, Dhang, the Founder and Chief Executive Mermaid of Sinaya Seafood, was featured at the Social Entrepreneurship 101 class, hosted by the Ateneo Centre for Social Enterprise (ACSENT) and the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA).

We love having the opportunity to share how our business model connects marine conservation directly with coastal community empowerment and poverty reduction.

A huge thank you to ACSENT and ISEA for giving us a platform to inspire the next generation of social entrepreneurs! 🐋💙

Our oceans give us so much. It’s time we return the favor.

Eating "responsibly” isn’t about restriction; it’s about making intentional choices that support our marine ecosystems and the local communities that protect them. This Month of the Ocean, we’re making it easy to dive in.

Swipe for 5 ways to eat for the ocean this month. ➡️
1️⃣ Choose Seasonal Catch: Diversify your palate! Ask for the “Catch of the Day” to support a wider variety of local species.
2️⃣ Support Chef-Partner Collaborations: When you dine at places like Inato or Casa Luisa, you’re supporting a supply chain that puts the ocean first.
3️⃣ Choose Artisanal Salt and Condiments: Coastal health starts with traditional methods. Discover our artisanal salts at Dominion Cellar and our famous aligue at Mrs. Saldos.
4️⃣ Seek Traceability: Know where your fish comes from. Our partners, like The Toyo Eatery, Rabbit Room and The Fatted Calf, prioritize transparency on every plate.
5️⃣ Eat with Intent: Every meal is a vote for the kind of future we want for our Philippine seas.

Which of these will you try first? Let us know in the comments! 👇
