Vandalism is not art.

We understand that people express themselves through art, but damaging someone else’s property—especially a small local business—is not art. It’s disrespectful and unacceptable.

Mikendo Cafe is a small business built from years of hard work, and every part of our space has been worked for and paid for.

To whoever vandalized our property: we will be looking into this and identifying those responsible. We will review available CCTV footage and take the necessary action once we have identified the person/s involved.

Please remember: your “art” should never come at the expense of someone else’s livelihood.
