🐾 WARNING & PREPAREDNESS FOR PETS DURING HEAVY RAINS / STORM

Mataas ang posibilidad na magkaroon ng:
• Pagbaha o biglang pagtaas ng tubig
• Malakas na ihip ng hangin
• Pagkawala ng kuryente at tubig
• Malakas na kulog at kidlat na maaaring magdulot ng stress sa mga alagang hayop

✅ PAALALA AT PAGHAHANDA

🏠 Kaligtasan sa Bahay
• Ilipat ang mga alaga sa loob ng bahay o mas mataas na lugar lalo na kung baha-prone ang lugar.
• Siguraduhing may malinis at tuyo na resting area para sa kanila.
• I-secure ang mga cage, kulungan, at windows para hindi lumipad o mabasa.

🥫 Pagkain at Tubig
• Maghanda ng 3–5 araw na pet food at malinis na inumin.
• I-seal nang maayos ang pagkain upang hindi mabasa o malangaw.
• Maghanda ng feeding at water bowls na hindi madaling matapon.

📌 Pet Emergency Kit
• Vet card / health records
• Leash, harness, or carrier
• Flashlight at extra batteries
• First aid kit para sa pets (betadine, gauze, antiseptic, meds)
• Diapers / p*e pads kung may maliliit na alaga

😿 Stress Management
• Panatilihin silang kasama mo kung kinakabahan sila sa kulog/kidlat
• Bigyan ng kumot o favorite toy para kumalma
• Iwasan ang pag-iwan mag-isa sa madilim o mataong lugar

🚨 Kung Kailangan Lumikas
• Isama ang mga alaga — huwag iiwan
• Alamin kung pet-friendly ang evacuation center o maghanap ng alternative shelter
• Gumamit ng carrier o leash para hindi mawala

❗MAHALAGANG PAG-IWAS
• Huwag hayaang umiinom sila ng baha — may leptospirosis at iba pang bacteria
• Iwasang lumakad sa madudulas at kuryenteng lugar
• Bantayan ang mga gamot at kemikal sa paligid (baka matumba dahil sa hangin/tubig)
