As of 2:00 AM today, 29 August 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 08i) is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a "LOW" chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the other Low Pressure Area (LPA 08j) OUTSIDE the PAR is being monitored and has a "MEDIUM" chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA

πŸ“œ ALAM MO BA? DATING BAHAGI NG ZAMBALES ANG BOLINAO!

Bago naging bahagi ng Pangasinan, ang Bolinao ay dating kabilang sa lalawigan ng Zambales.

Noong Nobyembre 1903, sa bisa ng Act No. 1004, inilipat sa Pangasinan ang ilang bayan sa hilagang bahagi ng Zambales, kabilang ang Bolinao, Alaminos, San Isidro at Infanta.

May opisyal ding tala noong 1904 sa ilalim ng Act No. 1180 na tumutukoy sa Bolinao at iba pang bayan bilang mga lugar na dating kabilang sa Zambales bago mailipat sa Pangasinan.

Kaya hanggang ngayon, makikita pa rin ang koneksyon ng Bolinao sa Zambalesβ€”lalo na sa wika, kultura at kasaysayan. Ang wikang Bolinao ay may kaugnayan din sa mga Sambalic languages na ginagamit sa Zambales.

Isa itong mahalagang bahagi ng ating lokal na kasaysayan na dapat nating alalahanin at maipasa sa susunod na henerasyon. ❀️

Bolinao man ngayon ay Pangasinan, bahagi ng kasaysayan nito ang pagiging dating Zambales.
