Big news from the fields! The Tag-osip Farmers’ Association is officially leveling up! 🚀
We are incredibly proud to announce our very first bulk order delivery of fresh talong, okra, and pechay to Healthree Foods! These farm-fresh beauties are now on their way to serve the tables of Boracay Island. 🏝️🥗

This milestone wouldn't be possible without the hard work and heart of our dedicated members. A special shoutout and huge credits to our President Jose Buergo and Business Manager Dalmacio Patricio for their meticulous daily upkeep of our communal vegetable garden. Your dedication is what made this bountiful harvest possible!

Tag-osip Farmers' Association (TFA) February 2026 Milestones: Part 4 - OFFICERS’ STRATEGIC MEETING and MEMBERS’ REGULAR MONTHLY ASSEMBLY

On 21 February 2026, our leadership team met to discuss critical items for the association's growth. The agenda focused on transparency and long-term sustainability.
• Financial Planning: reviewed proposed budget and utilization of TFA’s revolving fund for Fiscal Year 2026
• Strategic Visioning: crafted intervention proposals for 2027–2028 to ensure that our farmer beneficiary members continue to receive the guidance and support they need
• Compliance & Accreditation: prepared the MAED documentary requirements for TFA's registration and accreditation with different government agencies

We wrapped up the month with our Member’s Regular Monthly Meeting on 28 February 2026. Transparency and teamwork remain our top priorities.
• Plan & Budget Workshop Takeaways: Workshop delegates shared the strategic results of the DA-SAAD workshop.
• Updates on SAAD intervention items, dagyaw schedules, TFA's financial position, and members' participation in upcoming activities

Tag-osip Farmers' Association (TFA) February 2026 Milestones: Part 3 - DA-SAAD WV FY2027 PLAN AND BUDGET WORKSHOP
TFA went to the city! Led by our Municipal Agricultural Officer (MAO) Glenn F. Pajonar, our representatives Jose T. Buergo (TFA President) and Sheryl Ann Rose E. Prado (Member) attended the DA-SAAD Western Visayas FY 2027 Plan and Budget Workshop in Iloilo City from February 24th to 27th to ensure that our association's voice is heard in the program’s agricultural development roadmap. They were joined by representatives of Bagongbayan Vegetable and Livestock Farmers’ Association and Balusbos Farmers’ Association, who pitched their respective proposals as well. We’re securing the resources we need to scale our operations for 2027–2028!

February was a powerhouse month for the Tag-osip Farmers’ Association! From getting our hands dirty in the fields to representing our community in shaping our future at the DA-SAAD regional planning workshop, our officers and members have been working tirelessly to secure a sustainable future for our community.

Here’s a look back at our February 2026 milestones:

Part 1 - THE HEART OF TFA: WEEKLY DAGYAW
Our communal projects are thriving! This month, we completed 300+ man-hours in our bi-weekly dagyaw (communal labor) sessions, coming together to maintain our communal vegetable garden and expansive pineapple plantations. Hard work is always lighter when shared!
