🤣 Kwento time!!!

Naalala nyo ba nung mga bata pa tayo, kahit butas na ang tsinelas basta makakalakad, tuloy ang laro?
Ganun din daw minsan sa mga proyekto kontra baha: kahit sablay, basta “may nagawa,” pasado na.

Kaya naisipan naming mag-imagine ng Crocs Flood Control Edition.
Isipin nyo, isang pares ng Crocs na kulay putik, tapos may tatlong accessories na laging kasama:

👞 Una si Budget Boy – hawak palagi ang folder na may malaking “Budget.”
Pero parang mas busy siya magbilang kaysa magpatupad. Lagi kang mapapaisip: “San nga ba napunta?”

👷 Sunod si Contractor – laging abala, laging may project, at laging may ribbon cutting.
Pero kahit ilang ulit nang may pondo, kahit ilang beses nang may kontrata, ayun pa rin… baha pa rin.

📐 Pangatlo si Engr. Blueprint – hindi matatawaran ang plano, kompleto ang drawing, todo presentasyon.
Pero pagdating sa aktwal, laging may karatula: “Under FLOOD-struction.”

Kung Crocs lang siguro ang gagamitin, baka mas matibay pa kaysa sa ilang proyekto natin 😂
At least yung Crocs, kahit baha hanggang tuhod, makakalakad ka pa rin nang komportable.

Nakakatuwa man isipin, pero seryosong usapan din ito: hindi biro ang epekto ng baha sa kabuhayan at kalusugan. Kaya dapat, sa tunay na mundo, hindi “Crocs edition” ang solusyon—kundi tamang sistema, maayos na plano, at matapat na pagpapatupad.

🧠 Laguna Lake Calling: We're Almost a "Septic Tank"
📍 Laguna de Bay crisis explained—real background, real urgency

For decades, Laguna de Bay has been a lifeline—providing fish, buffering floods, enriching livelihoods. Now? It’s slowly turning into the nation’s largest septic tank.

🚩 THE PROBLEM
Underneath the lake: years of sludge buildup—untreated wastewater, organic decay, silt, and chemical pollutants.

Result: Lake bed is sediment‑heavy, draining capacity has plummeted, and even light rain leads to flooding across low‑laying towns.

Shoreline communities continue to discharge domestic and industrial wastewater without treatment— worsening water quality and clogging the system.

📜 BRIEF HISTORY
1990s–2000s: LLDA permits wastewater discharge but enforcement lacked scale.

2011: “Save Laguna Lake” dredging project proposed—but hindered by funding shortfalls and legal setbacks.

2019–2024: Water quality tests reveal rising BOD, total suspended solids, coliform counts. The lake is in crisis.

July 2025: Representative Arman Dimaguila of Biñán City filed House Resolution No. 33 urging the review of flood control measures and possibility of large-scale dredging of Laguna de Bay.

⚠️ WHY NOW?
Continuing sludge build-up means flooding worsens with every rainy season.

The lake is no longer resilient. It’s failing and taking communities with it.

Climate change, urban expansion, and poor sanitation practices further accelerate the risk.

We recently completed a fully operational STP system for the Energy Development Corporation (EDC) Baguio facility, using our proprietary BioGraS™ technology.

"Ang akala ng marami, okay na basta may septic tank. Pero sa hotel na binisita namin kahapon, hiwalay ang linya ng kitchen at laundry — dahil iba ang impact nito sa environment. 🤯"

💡 Alam niyo ba?
Ang kitchen wastewater ay may mataas na grease at oil content. Kaya hindi pwedeng idiretso sa septic tank lang — kailangan ng grease trap at proper STP.

✅ Mabuti na lang, proactive ang management. Gusto nila long-term compliance — hindi lang para makapasa sa inspeksyon, kundi para tumulong sa kalikasan.
