The project focuses on the structural efficiency of aerodynamic building forms, more specifically tapered building forms. The project used MIDAS Gen to simulate and model the different tapering forms and prismatic building form using the collected wind pressure values from CFD simulations. Once complete, the DCR values were then used to get a one sample t-test result to determine and evaluate whether or not using tapered building forms is a much more structurally efficient method or there is no significant benefit.
