It is wildly popular in Southeast Asia, mainly in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore, and in Palembang in Indonesia. Philippine coconut jam, meanwhile, is made from coconut cream (the first and second press of grated coconut meat) and cane sugar extract or molasses. It is often eaten on pandesal and

is used to make kalamay. Delfinado’s Cocojam former brand was Bining’s Cocojam and family business since 1958 of Bining and Dencio Batario at Gulod, Cabuyao, Laguna. Bining’s second child, Tessie Batario-Delfinado continued the legacy since 1979 until now and named after the Delfinado.
