Here’s a look back at Leo Premium Crabmeat at MIHAS 2026, held last September 23–26, 2026 at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

It was an exciting opportunity to share our pasteurized crabmeat, made from wild-caught Blue Swimming Crab from Philippine waters, with international buyers and partners—and to proudly represent Philippine Halal-certified products on the global stage.

Leo’s in Taipei! 🇵🇭🦀🇹🇼

Proud to be part of the Philippine delegation at TIFS 2026 as we connect with buyers, importers, and industry partners while sharing premium Philippine crabmeat with the Taiwan market.

Thank you to DTI Export Marketing Bureau, PTIC Taipei, and MECO for supporting Philippine exporters and creating opportunities to showcase Philippine products on the global stage.

The Philippine delegation for the 2026 Taipei International Food Show (TIFS) had a highly productive day engaging with Taiwanese buyers ahead of the show.

The exporters met with the Goods Department Manager of EEC, which has over 100 stores in Taiwan. The Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO), led by MECO Chair and Resident Representative Corazon Avecilla-Padiernos, also hosted a networking activity wherein the exporters were able to pitch their products and connect with Taiwanese importers, including My Friend Group, AsiaMind Genesis Ltd., Chua Co., ABBA William Co., Wai Feng Co., ChengMiFeng Int’l Co., EEC, FIRDI (Food Industry Research and Development Institute), and Macroscopic Inc.

The activity also served as a platform for the Philippine delegation to learn more on Taiwan's food market trends and on Taiwan FDA's regulations and labelling requirements through the presentations of Dr. Barry Yang of Food Industry ​Research and Development Institute and Ms. Wendy Lan of My Friend Group, respectively.

The Philippine participation in TIFS 2026 was organized by DTI-Export Marketing Bureau and Philippine Trade and Investment Center - Taipei, in partnership with MECO and the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc.
