Hiyas Integrated Farm

Hiyas ng Maynila Integrated Farm is an extension project of GK Hiyas ng Maynila mainly to attend to its Productivity Program within its existing project located in Manila, Mandaluyong, Pasay and Taguig. uaranteed adequate food production in the foreseeable future and to generate income to support and sustain our works in Hiyas ng Maynila. Through the generosity of our Hiyas ng Maynila Director Hector Quesada, he allowed the team to use his idle 7.5 hectare lot located at Sitio Latian, Barangay Mapagong, Calamba City. Since Hiyas Farm is still on its developmental stage, as of now we were able to clear 2 hectare where we have 80sqm Formation Center, 60sqm Session Hall, 96sqm Green House, 32sqm Green House, 36sqm Vermiculture House, 36sqm Pig Pen, 25sqm Chicken Coop, 3 Fish Ponds and around 3,000sqm field open for planting. Hiyas Farm’s thrust is Natural and Organic Farming, with the help of the City Government of Calamba Department of Agriculture’s series of trainings and continuous monitoring we were able to produce various veggies such as Hot Pepper, Lettuce, Japanese Cucumber, Papaya, Sweet Corn and Pak Choi. We are also taught of producing Organic Feeds for Livestock.
