Our Humble Beginning


Hello everyone, let me share you a little about our humble beginning.😊

I am an aspiring chef from Calauan, Laguna. Agriculturist in profession but working on a semiconductor company as QA Document Controller. Siguro kase bata pa lang ay sinanay na kami na magluto although ordinary foods lang naman ang mga niluluto namin nuon. Naaal

ala ko pa nagkocollect ako ng mga recipes na nasa balat ng gatas at iba pang de-lata, pati na rin sa mga lumang magazines at iniisip ko na maluluto ko rin ito someday. Fast forward...

When I started working, tuwing may okasyon samen unti-unti nagluto na nga ako pero 'yung madadali lang na recipe.😊

Spaghetti at graham ang una kong naperfect gawin. Masarap daw sabi nila kaya I claimed it na as my specialty.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Nung bata kase kami simpleng spaghetti lang natitikman namin, 'yung usual na spaghetti na gamit sa sauce ay ketchup kaya nung nagkawork na ako nagluto ako gamit ang spaghetti sauce na available sa market. Pinagsama-samang idea ng mga pinagtatanungan ko at recipe na kinollect ko ang pinagbasehan ko. Nakailang experiment din ako bago ko nakuha 'yung lasa na gusto ko at nagustuhan din ng family, relatives and friends ko. I really love to cook lalo at nagugustuhan nila ang luto ko. Every time may dala akong food sa work or may kaunting salu-salo sa bahay at nagustuhan nila ang inihanda ko, ang saya-saya ng pakiramdam ko. Nakakaproud kase na kahit 'yung mga kasamahan mong alam mong masarap magluto, mahirap iplease at very vocal pagdating sa lasa ng pagkain eh naappreciate ang luto mo diba.😊

Kaya naman karamihan ng page na pinafollow ko is regarding foods and cooking. I also sell sa company, hindi ko na nga lang naituloy. Marami na kaseng nagbebenta na same with my product although sabi naman nila masarap 'yung product ko, kaya gusto ko 'yung kakaiba ang ialok ko sa kanila. Until one day while I'm browsing on may newsfeed may page (Kusina University)na nakatawag ng pansin ko. Nakita ko sa kanila 'yung hinahanap ko kaya nagfollow ako. I like the product they offering, kakaiba sya. Hindi naman kakaiba na as in hindi natin kilala or alam, ordinary sya, kilala halos ng lahat pero may twist ang mga inooffer nila. 'Yung tipo na wala ka pa talagang makikita na nag-aalok ng ganun except sa kanila at samga students nila. I read the reviews of their page and it turns out na magaganda ang feedback. Kaya lang need ipurchase ang recipe bago mo maavail. Wala akong extra budget that time so hindi ako nakaavail, pafollow-follow lang ako sa page, pasilip-silip everytime may dadaan sa newsfeed ko about it. Pero 'yung desire ko to join them hindi nawawala, lalo pa ngang tumitindi everytime may makikita akong post nila. Until January 2020 came, nakita ko may promo sila kaya I grab the opportunity. Nag-avail ako ng recipe nila kase I really believe na I will learn a lot from here at hindi naman ako nagkamali. Since then, Lheiya's Kitchen Hub was born. Yes, you read it right. Dahil sa pagkakaenroll ko sa kanila kaya nandito kami and serving you foods that will satisfy your taste buds. At syempre it's also because of you, our dear customers. Kase kung wala kayo, wala rin kami ngayon dito. Nag-uumpisa pa lang kami sa journey namin and I hope that you will continue patronizing our product. I know marami pa kaming pagdadaanan but I believe that God will helps us all the way para patuloy kaming makapagprovide ng masasarap na pagkain na makakapagpasaya sa inyo. He already sent us those people who is willng to help and guide us. All we need to do is to continue our passion in providing unique, delicious, and healthy foods. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of you, our dearest customers at syempre to my mentor and coach na walang sawang nagpupush sa amin to unleash the best in us. What a strange feeling it was!

My heart goes out to everyone affected by the flooding. I know the heavy rain and rising water have brought difficulties for many, and I hope and pray everyone is safe.

I was in the area for a scheduled meeting that was called off because of the flood.

Pero kanina, in the middle of the heavy rain and rising water, during my quiet walk, I felt an unexpected sense of calm I can’t quite explain.

Habang naglalakad ako sa gitna ng malakas na ulan at baha, hindi takot o pangamba ang naramdaman ko, kahit pa may matatalim na kidlat at malalakas na kulog.

I felt so calm and relaxed. 'Di ko maexplain, pero that’s exactly how I felt. Parang gusto ko pa ngang balikan β€˜yung baha para paglaruin ang mga paa ko sa tubig (at this point, the water was only ankle-deep).

To God be all the glory! I know it’s His guidance for me.πŸ™

At this moment, feeling ko bumalik ako sa pagiging bata. β€˜Yung mga panahong free kang maglaro sa mga sanaw after ng ulan, o β€˜yung mga oras na binabaybay ko ang bambang na may malakas pero malinaw na agos ng tubig papuntang school, walang kahit anong pag-aalinlangan.

Parang ganun ulit ang pakiramdam ko kanina, simple, carefree, β€˜yun lang.

Ewan hindi ko alam, basta, ang gaan lang sa pakiramdam. Para bang pansamantalang inagos ng baha ang lahat ng bigat at alalahanin ko sa buhay.πŸ₯Ή

Minsan talaga, ang sarap sa pakiramdam kapag nararamdaman mong nakabalik ka sa simpleng saya ng pagiging bata.😊

In fairness, malinis ang baha doon kaya parang ang sarap paglaruin ang mga paa sa tubig.

Throwback to the OG favorite dessert of every occasion!

Bago pa ito naging trending sa social media, it was already my specialty, My Mango Graham!

Ito ang bida sa kahit anong celebration in our home, birthdays, anniversaries, or any occasions, lalo na tuwing New Year, hindi ito nawawala.

Long before Mango Graham (or Mango Float, as many now call it) went viral on every feed, it was already the highlight of our family table.

Every time may occasion, lagi akong tinatanong ng mga kamag-anakan at friends ko, hindi ng β€œLei anong ulam?” kundi ng β€œMay Mango Graham ka ba?” πŸ˜…

For us, it wasn’t just dessert, it was the taste of celebration.

The layers of sweet cream, graham crackers, and golden carabao mangoes, kasama β€˜yan sa kwento ng tawanan, candle-blowing, kantahan, at endless chikahan.

No wonder it became the one dish everyone looked forward to, because alam nila it’s my specialty.

That’s why when you see it here, it’s not just β€œMango Float.”

It’s the Mango Graham you grew up craving, the same comfort, made with love, and that perfect sweetness na hindi mo makakalimutan. πŸ˜‹
