Xian Gaza recently sparked controversy on Facebook, claiming the media is fixated on the Discaya family's ₱31 billion flood control contracts from 2022-2025 while overlooking their substantially larger contracts worth hundreds of billions under the Build Build Build program from 2016-2021. Gaza questioned the Discaya family's enduring influence under the Marcos administration, suggesting their power extends beyond alleged ties to the Duterte family.
According to Gaza, neither the Duterte nor Marcos families truly control the Discayas. Instead, he alleged that another powerful political family, reportedly dominating the government's construction syndicate, orchestrated their rise. Gaza promised to reveal more details in a forthcoming Facebook Live session.
Post ni Xian Gaza: "Ang naha-highlight sa media ngayon ay yung 31 billion pesos flood control contracts ng mga Discaya from 2022 to 2025. Natabunan na yung daang bilyones na kontrata nila under Build Build Build program from 2016 to 2021. Magtataka ka na lang, kung totoo na Duterte Family talaga ang backer nila, bakit hanggang pagtawid sa Marcos Administration ay nakaplastada pa rin sila? The truth is, wala sa dalawang pamilya ang kapangyarihan nila. The rise to power of the Discayas was orchestrated by one political family who controls the government construction syndicate of the Philippines. Ayan ang ichichika ko sa inyong lahat sa ating susunod na Facebook Live."
