Gaza questioned the Discaya family's enduring influence under the Marcos administration, suggesting their power extends beyond alleged ties to the Duterte family.

According to Gaza, neither the Duterte nor Marcos families truly control the Discayas. Instead, he alleged that another powerful political family, reportedly dominating the government's construction syndicate, orchestrated their rise.
