What started as a simple initiative to share a little kindness turned into something much bigger.

Through Baga Burger for a Cause, we were able to collect a total of 𝟲𝟳𝟬 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, na ating naipamahagi sa ating mga kapwa 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲ñ𝗼𝘀 sa 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 na naapektuhan ng pagbaha.

Since Calumpit has been placed under a 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘆 due to the recent flooding, marami sa ating fellow Calumpiteños ang nangangailangan ngayon ng food and basic necessities.

As a local business, we want to do our part.

We’re launching 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗔 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗘 to help provide meals to families affected by the flooding.

𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦: 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗧, 𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗠 𝗡𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗬 🧡🇵🇭🚨 Bilang inyong Ina ng Bayan, ipinapaalam ko sa inyo na opisyal nang isinailalim ang Bayan ng Calumpit sa State of Calamity dahil sa malawakang pagbahasa lahat ng 29 nating barangay at patuloy na epekto ng matinding pag-ulan sa ating bayan.

Ang hakbang na ito ay batay sa aktuwal na sitwasyon sa ating bayan ang lawak ng mga lugar na naapektuhan ng baha, mga pamilyang kinailangang lumikas patungo sa mga evacuation center, patuloy na pagtaas at pananatili ng tubig sa mga mabababang lugar, at lumalawak na pangangailangan para sa rescue, relief at iba pang pangunahing serbisyo.

Batay sa assessment at monitoring ng ating Calumpit Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), nagbigay ito ng rekomendasyon sa Sangguniang Bayan ng Calumpit na isailalim ang buong bayan sa State of Calamity upang higit na mapalakas at mapabilis ang pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan.

Sa pamamagitan nito, mas mapagtitibay natin ang ating mga hakbang para sa rescue, relief, evacuation, recovery at iba pang kinakailangang intervention para sa mga apektadong pamilya at komunidad.

Bilang inyong Ina ng Bayan, tinitiyak ko sa inyo na patuloy nating babantayan ang kalagayan ng bawat barangay. Hindi natin hihintaying lumala pa ang sitwasyon bago kumilos.

Hinihiling ko ang inyong patuloy na pakikiisa at pag-unawa.

Mag-ingat po tayong lahat. Manatiling alerto, makinig sa opisyal na mga abiso at unahin ang kaligtasan ng inyong pamilya.

Sa panahon ng kalamidad, iisa ang ating layunin na mailigtas ang buhay, matugunan ang pangangailangan ng bawat Calumpiteño, at sama-sama tayong makabangon.

Kumikilos tayo. Hindi tayo mag-iiwanan.
