CMZ AGRICULTURE INNOVATION CAPACITY BUILDING 🌱📲
📍 Brgy. Sagoma and Bucac, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur
Farming is changing, and our farmers must be ready to change with it.
The CMZ Farm and Store's CMZ Agriculture Innovation Capacity Building brings practical technology, science, and modern farming solutions closer to our farmers in Brgy. Sagoma and Brgy. Bucac.
Because innovation is not about replacing traditional farming—it is about helping farmers farm smarter, reduce unnecessary expenses, improve productivity, and make better decisions.
🌾 WHY SHOULD FARMERS ADOPT TECHNOLOGY?
Today, farmers face increasing challenges: high input costs, unpredictable weather, pest and disease pressure, nutrient deficiencies, and limited access to timely agricultural information.
Technology can help farmers answer important questions before spending money:
📲 What does my crop need?
🌱 What nutrient is lacking?
💰 Am I applying the right input—or wasting money?
🌾 What should I monitor in my farm?
📊 How can I keep better records and make better decisions?
🤖 FutureSeed AI — Your offline Agronomist.
One of the highlights of the capacity-building activity is FutureSeed AI, demonstrating how farmers can begin using AI-powered agricultural technology through the cellphone they already have.
Instead of relying only on guesswork most especially on Pest Management, farmers can use technology to access agricultural assistance, organize farm information, support decision-making, and potentially lessen unnecessary expenses by making more informed choices about their farm inputs and activities.
Technology doesn't have to be expensive.
Sometimes, the most powerful agricultural tool a farmer needs is already in their hand—their cellphone. 📱🌱
🧪 MOET & LCC — UNDERSTANDING NUTRIENT DEFICIENCY
We have also learned from Sir Mar Calinawan, our partner Licensed Agricultirist about MOET and LCC, practical approaches that can help farmers better understand the nutrient condition of their rice crop.
The goal is simple:
“Ayaw sa pag-abono kung wala pa kabalo unsay kulang.”
By learning how to identify possible nutrient deficiencies, farmers can make more informed decisions on fertilizer application—helping avoid unnecessary inputs while supporting healthier and more productive crops.
🌿 FMC — NEW BREAKTHROUGH SOLUTIONS
Farmers will also be introduced to new breakthrough FMC products and solutions, particularly for managing “mga damo nga may buko” and other difficult w**d problems affecting farm productivity.
Because effective crop protection is not simply about using more products.
It is about using the right solution, at the right time, and in the right way.

🚜 FROM TRADITIONAL FARMING TO SMARTER FARMING
The future of agriculture is not about choosing between farmers and technology.
It is about bringing the two together.
👩🌾 Experienced farmers + Modern technology
📱 Cellphones + AI
🧪 Science + Field observation
🌱 Sustainable practices + Innovation
📊 Data + Better decision-making
This is what CMZ Agriculture Innovation is all about.
We believe that every farmer deserves access to knowledge, technology, and innovation—regardless of the size of their farm.
Because when we empower one farmer with the right knowledge and technology, we strengthen an entire farming community.
