“Ay, ay, singkuenta lang ang binigay.”
This Christmas season, let’s remember one thing: not everyone can afford expensive gifts.
Not everyone has extra money.
And some people are silently struggling~ not just financially, but in life.
So if someone~ your friend, your relative, anyone~ gives you something from their heart, please appreciate it.
Don’t say, “Ay, singkuenta lang,”
“Ay, ito lang?”
“Hindi naman mahal,”
“Mura lang.”
Because you don’t know where that money came from.
You don’t know what they gave up just to buy that small gift.
You don’t know the sacrifice behind that simple token~ or even that very simple shirt.
This season is not about the price of the gift,
but the love, effort, and intention behind it.
A thankful heart is the best gift you can give back.
Be kind. Be appreciative. This is the true spirit of Christmas. 🎄
