Martha’s Table believes that food brings people together. With food, long meetings become bearable, chit-chats create new memories, couples enjoy their alone time, and the list can go on. Food is an important element not only for survival but for relationships.
We were taught to eat and appreciate whatever is served to us regardless if it doesn’t taste good. As they say, “it’s the thought that counts.” As a result, it was never hard for us to appreciate food when we visit other people’s house or other places. The downside, it’s hard to decide what’s “masarap” and not. But the main value that we got from there is how we made good and lasting relationships with people from all walks of life. And this is just because we don’t say “no” to food.
Our family loves to eat and cook, and share them. We love sharing our food to our friends who turned family over time.
That’s the same goal that we want you to experience; to find bond and lasting relationships over food. We want families and friends to gather around the dining table and munch over our family recipes that brought long conversations and fruitful bond to us.
