Cavite is known for its fresh mussels (tahong) and oysters (talaba). In early 1980's, the Sotto clan started selling seafood products. With a vision of providing fresh yet affordable seafood products, the couple Mar and Tess Sotto started their own seafood business in 1985. Mar Sotto is known as one of the best supplier of mussels and oysters here in Cavite province and even in Metro Manila areas.
