NOW OPEN | PISAY NCE 2027 APPLICATIONS
The DOST-Philippine Science High School System (PSHS) is now accepting applications for the National Competitive Examination (NCE) for School Year 2027-2028. If you will be a Grade 6 student for SY 2026-2027 with a strong interest in science and mathematics, this is your opportunity to become a Pisay scholar.
📅 Application Period: April 6 to November 7, 2026
📝 Date of Exam: January 30, 2027
Who can apply?
Eligible applicants must:
✔ Be a Grade 6 student from a DepEd-recognized school (SY 2026-2027)
✔ Have a final grade of 85% or better in Science and Mathematics in the Grade 5 report card (SY 2025-2026), or belong to the top 10% of the batch
✔ Be a Filipino citizen
✔ Be 15 years old or below by June 30, 2027
✔ Have at least a satisfactory character rating
✔ Be in good health and fit for a rigorous academic program
✔ Have not previously applied for admission to PSHS
