With P250/kilo circulating price in Mindanao for dried Cacao.

Cocoa prices soared by 180% in 2024, hitting an all-time high of over $12,900 per tonne and becoming the best-performing commodity of the year.

The surge was driven by production challenges in key cocoa-producing nations like Ivory Coast and Ghana, creating a global supply deficit. 🌍

Starting 2024 at just $4,200 per tonne, cocoa futures skyrocketed to $12,931. Experts anticipate prices will remain strong in early 2025 but may stabilize as production recovers. ⏳
