✨️"BUT EVEN IF HE DOESN'T..."✨️
Daniel 3:16-18 AMP
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to answer you on this point. [17] If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. [18] But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up!”
Daniel 3:24-25 AMP
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king [looked and] was astounded, and he jumped up and said to his counselors, “Did we not throw three men who were tied up into the midst of the fire?” They replied to the king, “Certainly, O king.” [25] He answered, “Look! I see four men untied, walking around in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt! And the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!”
Let's accept the fact and the reality that it is easy to serve God when life is good.
It is easy to serve God when you are healthy and well.
And it is easy to serve God when He always "answered yes" to our prayers.
But what if He doesn't?
Then we find our selves drifting away from His presence.
"Ingun Ka, maayuu Ka!"
"Ingun Ka, tabangan ko Nimu?"
And the list goes on....
But with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego --- the king instructed them to worship the statue and warned them to be thrown into the blazing furnace if they don't.
It was literally a choice between life and death.
Para natu sayon ra ang pagpili: sa life jud ta. Sa kanang asa ta safe adtu ta, right???
They all knew that God CAN save them from the fire ---but the amazing thing is: even if HE DOESN'T --- they will still worship and serve Him!!! Hallelujah!!!
God is NOT OBLIGATED at AT ALL times to save us and make our life GOOD --- but even during chaos and storms, let's embrace His presence and His promise, even when it feels like we are walking alone. ✨️✨️
