Palawan has once again earned global recognition after being named the World’s Best Island to Visit for 2025 by US News & World Report.

The Philippine destination topped the publication’s annual list of the 24 Best Islands to Visit, which was released on April 22. Palawan was praised for its breathtaking scenery, rich biodiversity, and range of activities suited for both adventure seekers and beach lovers.

"This Philippine archipelago's 1,700-plus islands and islets entice adventure seekers and beach bums alike," US News & World Report said.

The ranking highlighted popular attractions on the island, including Kayangan Lake in Coron, the lagoons of Bacuit Bay in El Nido, and kayaking through the caves of the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River.

"Those who prefer to vacation at a slower pace can lounge on serene beaches overlooking limestone formations or catch a glimpse of marine life on a snorkeling tour," the publication added.

Visitors were advised to plan their trips during Palawan’s dry season, which runs from November to May.

Following Palawan on the list were Sardinia in Italy, Mauritius, Santorini in Greece, and the Faroe Islands. Completing the top 10 were Cyprus, Tahiti, the Whitsunday Islands, South Island in New Zealand, and Bora Bora.

According to US News & World Report, the rankings are based on an analysis of expert opinions, traveler reviews, and insights from in-destination writers and editors.

Our Story

The tourism industry in Coron, Palawan has grown rapidly in recent years. This growth has opened doors to great opportunities especially in the restaurant and fast food businesses. However, at the Coron town proper, it is getting harder to find a place to rent or buy a property to build one's dream restaurant or fast food establishment.

For this reason, we built Rapsa Nui - the first food park in Coron to help entrepreneurs take advantage of this opportunity by offering stalls or kiosks for rent at relatively lower costs compared to taking out a lease at bigger establishments. Our soft opening was held on the weekend of October 18, 2019.

We currently have 3 stalls in phase 1 available to rent. And we’re close to completing another 8 stalls in phase 2 which are currently available to rent. These units are available to tour operators, motorcycle rentals, ATV rental outfits, scuba diving tours, retailers and other enterprises.

If you missed out on phase one, and are interested in phase two, please contact George S. Binaday Co-Founder & COO: [email protected] or Eugene Guiyab, VP Business Development, Rapsa Nui: [email protected]
