🍢 Make Eomuk Bokkeum (Korean Stir-Fried Fish Cake) 🍢
A quick & flavorful Korean side dish ready in just 10 minutes! Perfect with rice or as banchan for your K-meal 🇰🇷🍚
✨ Ingredients:
8 oz fish cake (eomuk, about 4 sheets)
1/4 onion (sliced)
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 scallion (chopped)
1 red chili or bell pepper
1 green chili or bell pepper
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine or mirin
1 tsp sugar (adjust to taste)
2–3 tsp gochugaru (optional, for spice)
Pinch black pepper
Oil for stir-frying
Sesame seeds (optional garnish)
🔥 How to Cook:
1️⃣ Blanch fish cakes in hot water for 30 secs, drain & cool.
2️⃣ Slice into bite-size pieces.
3️⃣ Heat oil, stir-fry garlic, onion, scallions for 1 min.
4️⃣ Add fish cakes & peppers. Stir-fry for 1 min.
5️⃣ Add sauce, mix well, cook until absorbed (1–2 mins).
6️⃣ Optional: Garnish with sesame seeds & serve hot!
