An empowering and timely seminar on Consumer Rights and Responsibilities is currently underway, conducted by the DTI Albay Provincial Office – Consumer Protection Division.

The session highlights the importance of knowing and exercising our rights as consumers while also fulfilling our responsibilities to promote fair trade, ethical business practices, and a balanced marketplace. Through this seminar, participants gain practical knowledge on consumer protection laws, proper complaint mechanisms, and how to make informed purchasing decisions.

We extend our appreciation to DTI Albay for their continued commitment to educating and protecting consumers, and for strengthening consumer awareness within our community. This initiative truly helps build confident, responsible, and empowered consumers.

We are honored to have been visited by the World Bank Independent Group at the Camote Creation Farmers and Entrepreneurs Multipurpose Cooperative! 🌱✨

Their visit focused on checking our project progress, promoting sustainable farming practices, and identifying ways to further strengthen our cooperative. We were proud to showcase our farmers’ innovations, product development efforts, and our growing contribution to the local economy. 💚💼

Together, we continue to work toward improving farmers’ productivity, expanding market opportunities, and uplifting the lives of our community members. 🤝🌾

This initiative not only supports ecological balance but also enhances agricultural productivity, empowers local farmers, and strengthens cooperative-led environmental stewardship.

The cooperative’s participation reflects its commitment to sustainable practices, community development, and innovative approaches to waste reduction.

Yesterday, CCFEMC staff took part in a training session organized by the Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) through the Albay Provincial Cooperative, Enterprise, and Manpower Development Office (APCEMDO), in collaboration with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Albay.

The session provided valuable insights into record-keeping concepts, required records, standard forms, and best practices for promoting transparency and accountability. These will help us run our operations more efficiently and remain fully compliant, and further strengthen trust with our members.
