Say it with an Aaah!
Now, this was exciting!
It all started one day during lunch when we decided to make a home cooked Chili and Garlic oil. It was Mandarin Restaurant’s Hot Sauce that we have always craved for - but we wanted it to have more of the garlic and less the oil. Since we always wanted to spice up a lot of viands every meal, we made a go for it. When everyone in the family got a taste of it, without hesitation, my husband said we can try to commercialize the product. That surprised me, so I took a picture of it and posted it online.
I was a bit skeptic of the idea that time. I wasn’t convinced that things would work out well if we’d commit on selling it. Until the next week came and I visited my mum in GenSan City. Remember when I said I posted it online? A cousin of mine that I met in the city saw the post so she asked for me to make her some. She said she’s a fan of the side dish and it’s a perfect pair for a home-cooked Ramen. By that time, I got my mom to get a taste of it too, along with the rest of the guys. I was surprised when my Mum mentioned about selling it. Then my hubby vouched on the idea again.
So here we are! And as what my cousin suggested, we have 2 varieties; Crunchy Garlic in Chili and Oil, and Chili Garlic Paste (for those that are not much of a garlic fan). Very soon we’ll be adding more products (condiments) and we’re hopeful!
