⚠️WARNING⚠️
Last night's flood in **Purok 22, Los Amigos, Tugbok** left behind heartbreaking scenes that our community will not soon forget.
Several vehicles were stranded as floodwaters rose rapidly, leaving motorists with nowhere to go. Many residents found themselves trapped, waiting for the water to subside before they could safely return home. Amid the devastation, some people were even seen catching catfish that had been swept into the flooded streets—a striking reminder of how extraordinary and difficult the situation had become.
Sadly, many families suffered the worst of it. Homes were submerged, belongings were destroyed, and some residents lost almost everything they had worked so hard to build.
One of those severely affected is **Angelica Pajo**, whose house was heavily damaged by the flood. The water rose so quickly that she and her family were unable to secure or save any of their belongings before everything was submerged. They are now facing the difficult task of starting over.
We humbly appeal to our **Local Government Unit (LGU) City Government of Davao**, concerned agencies, kind-hearted individuals, and anyone who is able to help. Any form of assistance—food, clean drinking water, clothing, bedding, construction materials, household essentials, or financial support—will go a long way in helping the affected families recover from this disaster.
Let us come together as one community. In times like these, compassion, generosity, and unity can make all the difference.
Please keep the affected families of Purok 22, Los Amigos, Tugbok in your prayers, and if you are in a position to help, your support will be deeply appreciated.
