Hello! How are you?

It’s been quite some time since the last time I posted. I was honestly shocked when I checked the date of the last cake I posted. But you know what? I’m still here tho. I still make cakes off cam.

I may be losing my keen.. yet my faith is luminous.

I just wanna share with you what John said in the bible…

“He must increase, but I must decrease.”
-John 3:30 KJV

As what God wants us to do, honor Him much more than what you can offer. And this is how those weeks were spent, I have had more time with the Lord. Every morning prayer feels like a morning tea and conversation with Him. Grateful, Repentant, Hopeful and Forgiving, it was just an emotional ride.

I have never had a dull moment spending those days glorifying God. He even gave me a blessing in return. It wasn’t a material or financial thing. Instead it’s the people around me. My family, my church, my church leaders and my brethren. And having new people in the church as well.. especially when you truly prayed for that to happen.

You may see me spend less time here, but I found out that there’s nothing compared to the joy that God gives us. Most specially when You let His will be done. He is worthy of all praises!

Yesterday’s rush order for our regular client 🤍

Perfectly God’s time. These cupcakes were supposedly for our other client’s cake and cupcakes set of orders. But decided to remove the cupcakes, so I had to set this aside and just use it for my husband’s birthday. (He has no cupcakes now hahaha)

Then suddenly one of our regular clients, Ma’am Ann, chatted if she could order a cupcake bouquet for tomorrow! So I said yes!! This isn’t just a dozen, but is a 19-floral cupcake bouquet. Thank you Ma’am for choosing us always po 🥰

Making floral cupcakes and bouquet arrangements just makes my heart so happy 🤍💐

Also, I am fully grateful to God for giving me a business where my heart is truly passionate about. And for giving me clients on the moments I least expected. 🤍

Golden age of Sir Julito ✨

I always regard cake orders as blessings. Especially rush orders, they are answered prayers to me. Just like this one, while I was just having my rest time binge watching a series, a client called me if I could make a cake. And it’s not just a simple, it has very intricate fondant details. And it doesn’t just end on praying for a cake, the process of making it also needed to be prayed for. Praying to surpass all the bases, details and even the structure. I myself don’t justify what I did for the cake. It is all credited to God. God provided it all and I am just here to execute. And He never fails to amaze me.

And this is just another cake to glorify the Lord! All praises and honor belongs to Him! 🙌🏻

Joel 2:25 KJV

God remains faithful even on the very bad situation we are in. We may have lost a huge piece of us but our God never skips His promises, He will restore what was lost not in the way we expected but in ways He prepared for us.

What was the relevance of this verse to me?

Because I did not loose any thing, but what I lost was my time. My time with the Lord. I found many time for my business, but I compromised my time for Him. And I admit, I do not deserve His blessings after all the time I skipped from Him. YET He still made His promise to me abundantly.

And then I saw this verse today, I am very much convinced that this passage did not come by accident only, God truly has something to say to me. He has His ways of communicating us differently, and this verse was one of those.

Today I am humbly reminded that God is a merciful God. He can restore what I lost and fulfill what I lacked. We as His children just need to ask Him, everything we need.

He is faithful.
And I am blessed and forgiven.

Weather lately have been very challenging for bakers. 🌧️🌧️

Most of the time the consistency of buttercream is difficult to manage that made me redo the final coating from the start. Also making a fondant character kept getting moisture because of humidity. And the last thing that I’m also concerned was poor lighting because of the dim.

It happened all at once, but when I looked again at the pictures, it wasn’t even far different from the captures I do.. I just learned there are times you kept complaining first and unconsciously disregarding the beauty that’s actually currently happening.

This cake taught me patience and gratitude. 🫂

God blessed me with another day to reflect.
