IWB is a burger store born out of love. We created it for Leof, our youngest child who is on the autism spectrum. Daddy, a professional chef in Toronto, crafted the burgers based on the flavors our family grew to love here in North America. Even the name IWB was suggested by Leof’s older brothers.
From the very beginning, the business was designed with a purpose beyond serving burgers. We wanted to help support the autism community while creating a place where individuals on the spectrum, together with their families and friends, can feel safe, comfortable, and welcome.
Our logo was also a family decision. We know the puzzle piece can be a sensitive symbol in the autism community, but for us, it simply represents Leof because he absolutely loves puzzles. That’s why it became part of our logo and our story.
IWB was created to bring people together through good food, understanding, awareness, and acceptance.
To everyone who continues to support our store, thank you so much. Every visit, every order, every shared post, and every kind word means a lot to our family. What started as a simple dream inspired by our son has grown into a community filled with support, encouragement, and really good burgers. We are grateful for all of you for helping us keep this dream going — one burger at a time.
