It sounds like science fiction, but it’s true! Oyster mushrooms are technically carnivorous. Since they grow on wood that lacks nitrogen, they hunt for their own protein. They release a special scent that attracts microscopic worms (nematodes). Once the worms get close, the mushroom paralyzes them and... well, has them for dinner. 🍽️ Nature is wild.
