UPDATE:
We initially planned to have our last day of operations on October 31, Thursday. However, the 6.6 jolt we experienced last October 29 in the morning, made us all rethink beyond ourselves and consider the safety of every customer. It may be against our will and that we sincerely apologize that Digos Jack's Bakery has rolled down its curtains today, October 30, 2019, Wednesday.

It saddens us to inform our fellow Digoseños that Digos Jack's Bakery will temporarily close its doors starting October 31, 2019. This is to give way for the construction of its new building.

As we know, Digos City was hit by a magnitude 6 earthquake last October 16. The bakery was not spared. It had damages on its critical portion.

The bakery's building was built by the own hands of its owners, Mr. Henry Lei (Lei Hong, now 93 yo) and his late wife Ms. Florence Lee (Lee Yuck Fon), together with its bakers back in the 50's. Yes, it was a bayanihan endeavor and now stands approximately 69 years old.

There is no tentative date yet for the reopening. But we look forward to a better Digos Jack's Bakery in the coming months, to better serve the City of Digos and its awesome people.
