As part of the Municipality's continuing support to our college students, the Local Government Unit is pleased to offer the 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐝-𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 for all students whose dormitories are located within the province, pursuant to Municipal Ordinance No. 2025-13-001, otherwise known as the Free Dormitory Send-Off Ordinance of 2025.

Recognizing the financial and logistical challenges that often come with moving into dormitories, the program aims to provide students and their families with a smoother, safer, and more convenient transition as they begin another chapter of their educational journey. Every student deserves a strong start to the school year, and this service reflects the municipality's continuing commitment to making education more accessible and student-friendly.

The 13th Sangguniang Bayan of Dingras unanimously approved a Municipal Ordinance 2025-12-036 institutionalizing the provision of free dormitory send-off services for college students at the start of every academic year. The ordinance, authored and proposed by Hon. Xandrine C. Cudapas, SK Federated President, was passed during the council’s 3rd Regular Session.

The ordinance seeks to address the logistical and financial challenges faced by students and their families during the transition to higher education, especially for those relocating to municipalities or cities for tertiary studies. By offering complimentary transportation services, the local government aims to ease the burden of travel costs and ensure a safer, more convenient send-off experience for students departing for their respective dormitories.

Hon. Cudapas emphasized in her sponsorship speech the significance of creating youth-friendly policies that reflect the genuine needs of students, highlighting that such initiatives not only support educational access but also cultivate a more inclusive and responsive local governance.

The legislative measure garnered full support from all members of the Sangguniang Bayan, reflecting a shared commitment to youth empowerment and educational advancement.

In response to the needs of our students at the start of the academic year, we are launching our 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐝-𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 for students residing in dormitories within the province!

All registered students are required to assemble in front of the Municipal Hall on the scheduled date. Please arrive early as the departure is set at exactly 2:00 PM. Latecomers will not be accommodated.
