Photos really can't justify the scale of this in person. Iit’s actually a massive 3-foot, 6-tier cake. This minimalist masterpiece completely stood out while perfectly matching the elegance of the beautifully decorated venue.

May we one day be truly free.

It’s easy to celebrate whenever Independence Day comes around, but it’s hard to turn a blind eye to the real state of our country today. In the midst of rampant corruption, chaos, and the seeming suppression of voices that only want change, you really have to wonder: Are we truly free?

Real freedom isn't just the absence of foreign colonizers. It’s about having an honest government, justice for everyone, and the freedom to speak out without fear.

This Independence Day, may we do more than just celebrate—may we wake up, take a stand, and keep hoping that one day, we will finally achieve a Philippines that is truly free.
