Aside from fattening crabs, crab trading is another possible business model. Crab trading is considered a "fast break" trade, usually completed within a day or two, with margins that can range from 20% to 40% depending on the season.

For RAS farmers who already have established buyers, this can also help keep their boxes stocked while waiting for their fattened crabs to reach harvest.
