𝟕 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐏𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐍𝐄! 🤎☕
To be honest, this business didn't start with a business plan.
It started with a question.
"𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐩𝐨 𝐛𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧?"
That was back in 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.
One day, habang nagbabasa ako ng Bible, God answered me in the most unexpected way—through the book of 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐬. 😅
Yes, Leviticus!
Out of all the verses, these words stood out:
"𝐂𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝."
Napaisip ako.
"𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙... 𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙣𝙤 𝙥𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙮𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙧𝙞 '𝙮𝙖𝙣? 𝙃𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙤 𝙖𝙠𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙤 𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙜-𝙗𝙖𝙠𝙚."
Then God reminded me of my ninang whose business is baking.
Instead, God gave us something even better.
She became our mentor.

At the same time, sa church community namin, may connect group ang mga lalaki na mahilig sa kape. Ang meaning ng 𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐄 ay:
𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲.
Sabi ko noon, "𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐤𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧."
Hindi ko pa alam noon na God was already planting the vision in my heart.

Fast forward to 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.
May nakita akong dessert na trending sa TikTok.
𝐓𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐮.
Then came 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.
God started giving me dreams telling me it was time to start the business.
"𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐲... 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐲..."
> 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟑:𝟐𝟑
> "𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨, 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐧."

Hindi naging madali.
Pareho kaming walang background sa baking.
Wala kaming culinary degree.
"𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞." (Job 41:11)
He reminded me that if I cannot be faithful with what He has already entrusted to me, how can I faithfully manage the business He wants to give?
So little by little...
I learned to surrender everything to Him.
Because if God is the One who called us, then He will also be the One who sustains us.
Just as He promised in 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏:𝟔, He is faithful to finish the work He started.

Our goal was never just to sell food.
Our greatest desire has always been to 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝.
The income is only a bonus.
That's why our tagline became:
✨ 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.✨
Inspired by 𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟑𝟒:𝟖
"𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝."

By God's wisdom, we did everything we could.
🤎 We researched our competitors.
🤎 We joined baking communities to learn how to make tiramisu.
🤎 We learned from our mentor.
🤎 We created this page.
🤎 We did product photoshoots.
🤎 We asked our family and friends to taste-test our products.
Then finally...
𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐 came.
Our official opening.
By God's grace and favor, we received 𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐤 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲.
Something we never imagined.
---
And that's only the beginning.
Marami pang victories.
Marami ring struggles.
Sleepless nights.
Body aches.
Pagod.
Luha.
Prayers.
Moments when all we could do was cry out to God.
But through every season, 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐮𝐬.
He sustained us.
He provided for us.
He carried us.
Until today.
KaPe Ministry is not our business.
𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.
He is the Owner.
He is our Provider.
He is our Sustainer.
He is our Father.
He is our Friend.
As we celebrate our first anniversary, our hearts are simply filled with gratitude.
Thank You, Lord, for letting us witness and experience Your faithfulness one day at a time.
𝐓𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐲! 🤎
