Coco Well Japan Visits Coco Island Gensan to Explore Coconut Business Opportunities

A promising international partnership is on the horizon as Coco Well Japan paid a special visit to the Coco Island Farm and Production Facility in General Santos City to explore potential business collaborations in premium coconut and coconut-based products.

Coco Well first discovered Coco Island during IFEX Philippines in May 2025, where the brand’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and community-centered production immediately caught their interest.

Impressed by Coco Island’s product, responsible sourcing, and strong connection to local coconut farmers, the Japanese company expressed interest in seeing the operations up close.

During the visit to Gensan, the Coco Well team toured Coco Island’s coconut farm, learned about the Tree-to-Table processing journey, and inspected the upcoming production facility designed to uphold strict food safety and international manufacturing standards. The visit highlighted Coco Island’s dedication not only to product excellence but also to uplifting farmers across Region 12 through fair sourcing and livelihood support.
The discussions centered on potential supply partnerships, future product development, and the growing global demand for high-quality Filipino coconut products.

The visit marks an exciting step toward strengthening international ties and showcasing Region 12’s world-class coconut industry on the global stage. Coco Island and Coco Well Japan are optimistic about the possibilities ahead—opening doors for expanded export opportunities and deeper collaboration in the months to come.
