Ingredients
2 tbsp canola oil
6 cloves garlic crushed
1 pc onion, sliced
1 kilogram chicken cut ups
2 tbsp vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
2 pcs bay leaves
1 tsp whole black peppercorns, slightly crushed
2 pc Knorr chicken cubes
1 tsp brown sugar packed
Option: 1 cup kale or spinach

Cook
Heat oil in pan and sauté garlic and onions. Then add chicken to the pan and sear on all sides, until you have a little browning in the chicken skin.

Pour in vinegar, soy sauce and water. Add bay leaves, pepper and Knorr Chicken Cubes. Bring to a boil over high heat then reduce heat to simmer, but do not cover the pan. Continue to simmer for 10 mins.

Remove chicken pieces from sauce and fry in another pan until nicely browned.

Put back fried chicken pieces into sauce. Add sugar and let simmer again for another 10 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Serve warm.

Ingredients

▢2 cups glutinous rice aka sticky rice or malagkit
▢1 1/2 cups water
▢2 cups brown sugar
▢4 cups coconut milk
▢1/2 tsp salt
US Customary
Metric
Instructions
Combine the sticky rice and water in a rice cooker and cook until the rice is ready (we intentionally combined lesser amount of water than the usual so that the rice will not be fully cooked)
While the rice is cooking, combine the coconut milk with brown sugar and salt in a separate pot and cook in low heat until the texture becomes thick. Stir constantly.
Once the rice is cooked and the coconut milk-sugar mixture is thick enough, add the cooked rice in the coconut milk and sugar mixture then mix well. Continue cooking until all the liquid evaporates (but do not overcook).
Scoop the cooked biko and place it in a serving plate then flatten the surface.

Ingredients
1/2 kilogram ground pork
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 pc onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
1/2 cup finely chopped singkamas
1 pc Knorr Pork Cube, crumbled
Knorr Liquid Seasoning to taste
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
lumpia wrapper
canola oil for frying

Cook
Begin by combining the ground pork, garlic, onions, carrots and singkamas in a bowl. Mix well.

Crumble the Knorr Pork Cube and drop into the mixture. Or, you may opt to dissolve the Pork Cube with some hot water. Add sugar, pepper and egg next. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated. Season with a few drops of Knorr Liquid Seasoning.

Wrap the pork mixture into lumpia wrappers, seal using warm water, and fry them in hot oil until golden brown. Serving Lumpia Shanghai with chili sauce or vinegar will definitely make your day. It's a comfort food on its own.

Step 1: Prepare your chicken.
Opt for boneless, skinless chicken breasts for fuss-free prep. Generously season them with salt, pepper, and other spices of your choosing. Place them on a cutting board, then pound them into ½-inch rounds using a meat mallet or rolling pin.

Step 2: Add the ham and cheese.
Layer 1-2 slices of Swiss cheese over the pounded chicken. Follow with 1-2 slices of ham. Repeat this process until you’re satisfied with the number of layers for each breast.

Step 3: Roll the chicken into logs.
Apply firm pressure for tight, even rolls. Secure with toothpicks to help them keep their shape. Chill for 15-30 minutes to set for easier handling.

Step 4: Set up a breading station.
Prepare three separate dishes for flour, a beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Use one hand to dredge the chicken in the dry ingredients to minimize mess. Reserve your other hand for the egg mixture. Coat your chicken with flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Remove toothpicks.

Step 5: Fry until crispy all around.
Heat enough oil in a large pan. Add the breaded chicken and fry until one side is golden brown. Flip to cook the other side. Optionally, finish this dish in the oven to ensure that the chicken is cooked through. Serve hot!

04/10/2025

Ingredients
125 g pork, thinly sliced
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp oil
1 small pc onion chopped
4 cloves garlic chopped
1/4 cup chicken liver, cut into bite-sized pcs
1/2 cup shrimp peeled (optional)
1 small pc carrot, cut into thin strips
1/4 cup chicharo, ends trimmed
1/4 pc cabbage, sliced into thick strips or baby pak choi
2 tbsp kintsay, roughly chopped
1/2 cup beansprouts, well rinsed and drained
2 cups water
2 pcs Knorr Shrimp Cubes
1 tbsp soy sauce
pinch ground black pepper
1 pack (240 g) pancit canton noodles

Cook
First, you need to get a pan and boil the pork in 1/4 cup water for 10-15 minutes or until the water dries up.

Next, pour in the oil and begin sautéing the pork until it turns brown in color.

Throw in the onions and garlic next and cook until they are tender.

Now, add the chicken liver and sauté them until fully cooked before adding the shrimps.

When the shrimp changes color, add the carrots, chicharo, cabbage or pak-choi, beansprouts and kintsay and sauté for a good 1 minute.

Since the meats and vegetables are done, let’s now make the sauce. Pour the water, Knorr Shrimp Cube and soy sauce into the pan and allow these to simmer until the cube is dissolved well. Give this a nice seasoning of pepper.

We’re almost there with only a few more steps. Take the meat and vegetables out of the pan and drain them in a strainer or colander before transferring them in a bowl. This ensures that the noodles will cook properly in the stock and that the vegetables are still firm and not overcooked as well.

With the stock still simmering, drop the noodles in. Stir it every once in a while. We need to move it around from time to time to let the noodles absorb all the flavours of the stock. If the noodles have absorbed all the liquid and it’s still not yet tender, water may be added

Once the noodles are tender, transfer them onto a serving platter and arrange the cooked meats and vegetables on top. And then that’s it! Our Pancit Canton is ready to be served. This dish is best served and paired with some calamansi and soy sauce on the side.

Ingredients
400 grams spaghetti
2 tbsp oil
1 pc onion
5 cloves garlic
½ kg ground pork
2 pcs Knorr pork or beef broth cubes
2 tbsp tomato paste
500 grams tomato sauce
½ cup sugar
½ tsp pepper
1 cup water
salt to taste

Cook
First, cook the spaghetti noodles according to package directions. Drain well and set aside. Leave some pasta water for later use.

Next, get a pan and make it nice and hot over medium heat. Pour some oil and throw in the onions and garlic. Cook until light brown. Then add the ground pork and cook until the color changes.

Add Knorr Pork Cubes, stir well to dissolve before adding the tomato paste and tomato sauce. Just sauté this for 2 minutes.

Now, add sugar, pepper and water and continue to simmer over medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes until sauce has slightly thickened. Give this a nice seasoning of salt. You can add more sugar if preferred. You can also use the remaining pasta water to add starch and body to the sauce.

Now comes the best part! Get a big platter ready for your cooked spaghetti noodles and pour the sauce on top with a sprinkle of grated cheese. And that’s our dish!

There’s always a party when there’s meaty spaghetti. Have this any day of the week and you’ll surely have a treat!
