SIQUIJOR VLOG - Part 1 ❤️🌊

SIQUIJOR was not on my bucket list to visit but I thank myself that I did.

It has been 2 months since I visited this magical place and even until now, I am still in awe of what I just experienced.

This whimsical island has only 6 municipalities, with a coastal circumference of about 102 kilometers. Life here is beautifully simple, in fact,the simplest kind of living I have seen so far. There are no shopping malls, and the only familiar fast food they have is Jollibee.

Motorcycles, Tricycles and Bao-Baos are the main way around. I honestly can’t even remember seeing a jeepney!

And the locals? Incredibly honest! Imagine we are diving in the falls which we hiked meters away, swimming in the cave, with our phones and wallets left in the Bao-Bao we rented! Nothing lost, nothing touched! I can’t believe it myself!

Siquijor, you are more than just a travel destination, more than just a healing island…

Siquijor, you are a gentle pause, a place that reminds me how simple life can be…
