BreaTea PH Story
As the world, including the Philippines adjusted to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis; everyone witnessed the flexibility and perseverance of our Kababayans in order to survive this challenging time. Small local online businesses emerged from everywhere and one of them is BreaTea PH! Having been in the hotel and beverage industry for years and have previously managed a milk tea shop,
the Owner and the family took deep breaths (inhaled and exhaled), relaxed (life must go on), took matters into their own hands, and initially opened their online milk tea shop to the community – the BreaTea PH Community or BreaTeanians were born. BreaTea PH was first launched early this May 2020, with the drink concept of “Affordable Price with a Great Taste Surprise” embodying the essence of unique blended mixtures and not just having less-than-stellar business practices behind a wall.
“Connect and Collaborate” with small local online businesses within the BreaTea PH’s community was also one of our main advocacy (because teamwork makes the dream work). These small local online businesses or what we call, BreaTea PH Collabs are always carefully chosen to ensure high-quality content is maintained and created, we share the same values and common goals, and lastly, it benefits everyone, especially our BreaTea PH Community. Relentlessly pursuing with passion for providing a good, relaxing, and quality BreaTea PH experience and catering to the demands of the BreaTeanians, BreaTea PH introduced different series of drinks/foods/services and for which, continuously evolve over time. From the Classic Bubble Milk Tea and Fruit Tea series, beverage options expanded to:
- Limited Milk Tea series,
- Cheesecake Milk Tea series,
- Keto Milk Tea series (for those health-conscious people),
- Tong-Cha Vegan Series (guided, approved and recommended by our veteran actress and whole-person wellness, Ms. Teresa Loyzaga)
- more options of add-on Sinkers,
- BreaTea PH Switch (a selection of drinks that can be switched to caffeine-free drinks)
- some delightful foods were also made in bundles with a BreaTea PH drink,
- BreaTea PH Travels was also born (bulk orders and cheaper delivery fees, or BreaTea PH Shindig – a booth or table set up for your special occasions),
- and of course, we do “Made Especially For You by BreaTea PH”, whenever possible. The love and support to BreaTea PH swelled up so much – from the BreaTea PH Community to celebrities like Wilma Doesn’t, Rhian Ramos, Teresa Loyzaga, Janice de Belen, Randy Santiago, Aubrey Miles and Dianne Medina (and continuously adding up) who has been actively supporting small local businesses and have also recommended BreaTea PH (check out their social media accounts for daily inspiration). Since we picked up momentum and developed a stronger point of view about BreaTea PH, we started seeing that our values transcended bubble tea and even into food - sub-brands: Mac Chickinn and Mamita's Delicacies! Moreover, as inquiries/interest were increasing... BreaTea-ble and Affordable Franchise concept was born! Continuously living one of our values, always considering the community, “Spreading BreaTea-ful moments made with passion and excellence”. Growing our BreaTea PH Family required us a lot of careful and thoughtful decision-making, as we want to ensure consistency in everything that we do in BreaTea PH and at the same time, continuously living with the same values and passion, and one of these values is always considering the community. Breathe – to live; rest from action; take air into the lungs and then expel it. Tea – a hot drink made by infusing dried crushed leaves of the plant in boiling water. Also known as a hug in a cup.
