Kuya: Diesel yung engine ko tapos Petrogen ibibigay mo? Hindi ba pang petrol o gas lang yan?

Symon: Hindi po, boss. Yung Petrogen natin multigrade, meaning pwede siya sa gas at diesel engines. Sa totoo lang, ito na po yung standard ngayon even sa big brands. Hindi na uso yung monograde na pang-isang type lang.

Kuya: Ah ganun ba, sige yan na garud. Basta quality ah.

Kuya: Meron ba kayong fully synthetic na langis?

Symon: Meron po, boss. Para po sa anong sasakyan?

Kuya: Dati kasi, sinasabi ko lang โ€œfully synthetic,โ€ tapos may binibigay na agad.

Symon: Ganun po kasi boss, dapat naka-base sa sasakyan. May iba-ibang klase po kasi may mas makapal, may mas manipis. Depende sa engine, mileage, at kung saan ginagamit.

Kuya: Montero 2009 sakin, diesel. Ginagamit dito sa Cagayan region tsaka Manila.

Symon: Ayos po. Sa ganyang engine, mas okay yung medyo makapal. Deogen 5W-40 CK4 mas protektado po makina niyo lalo na dito sa mainit. Okay din po yung Deogen 15w40 mas makapal pa po, recommended for older, higher-mileage vehicles.

Kuya: Sige, try ko yang 15w40, pag okay, dito na ako kukuha lagi.

Ano nga ba ang ibig sabihin ng 5W-30?

Hindi po ito โ€œlakas levelโ€ ๐Ÿ˜…

5W = kapal ng langis kapag cold start
30 = kapal kapag mainit na ang makina

Sa Baguio, malamig ang umaga.
Cold start protection matters.

Pero dahil puro uphill tayo, kailangan din stable ang oil kapag mainit na.

Kaya hindi porke mas makapal (10W-40, 20W-50) ay mas maganda agad.
Depende yan sa engine design at paggamit.

Kung hindi ka sure sa viscosity mo, check ownerโ€™s manual first. Huwag manghula.

Honestly, we hear that a lot and we almost thought of doing it.

But we realized thatโ€™s not the kind of values we want Igotorque to stand for. Thatโ€™s not the mark we want this brand to leave.
